Eileen Schwartz, Ph.D., a senior psychologist with over 25 years experience working with
adults, couples, children and families, practices psychology in Jamaica Plain and Brookline Massachusetts. She employs an
integrated approach to psychotherapy including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems work, stress management, neurofeedback
and energy psychology.
Before returning to private practice Dr. Schwartz served as a psychologist in the outpatient
medical practice at the Deaconess Hospital with a joint appointment in the Departments of Medicine and Psychiatry. In this
practice she collaborated closely with physicians and treated patients with chronic and life threatening illnesses. Dr. Schwartz
also served as an instructor at Harvard Medical School where she co-taught a course, Patient-Doctor, which trained medical
students to communicate more effectively with patients.
Prior to her work at the Deaconess Dr. Schwartz supervised
staff at local mental health agencies where she served on adult and child family teams. She also served as adjunct clinical
faculty in the graduate counseling program at Lesley College and Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology.
Dr. Schwartz is trained in adult, child, family therapy, couples work, health psychology, energy psychology and neurofeedback.
